M Update, 15/2/2019 – The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) has launched a search and rescue operation to locate a passenger of a ferry who was believed to have fallen off the vessel while traveling from the mainland this morning.
The authorities were immediately alerted to the incident after the passenger, whose identity is still unknown, was said to have fallen into the sea from the Pulau Undan ferry.
MMEA launched the SAR operation at 9.50am and are still looking for the passenger.
